I needed to add several tools to my kitchen and opted for budget items. I plan to upgrade to higher quality over time. This is a bit hard to grate. It's sharp enough to shred skin if it gets in the way, but it doesn't allow fruit to pass over smoothly. It's a very rough and clumsy process and I use extreme caution to prevent injury.
