I was excited to have a cheese grater with no plastic. This one worked ok, but had a bit too much of a gap between the grater and the area where it sits so pieces of cheese get stuck. Also, some of the cheese would have black on it? I washed it well and dried it and there was no oil required, so I have no idea where this black stuff kept coming from.

Best grater for parigiano Teggiano cheese that I put on salads & other meals.Just like in the restaurants!Easy to assemble & disassemble to wash.

This grater barely works and leaves metal residue on firm cheeses. The individual grating holes aren’t big enough, rough enough, or sharp enough to bite and grate cheese.
Retired, mostly just tired.

I appreciate that this is not plastic, but it is not easy to use. It's not very precise. Cheese does not fall where you would expect.

This product is a health hazard! Not only is the product itself flimsy and DEFINITELY NOT STAINLESS STEEL AS ADVERTISED, but while your grating, metal shavings from the product come out with your cheese! In the pictures, I am using a very high quality block of pecorino cheese imported from Italy. As you can also see, METAL SHAVINGS came out along with the cheese. I wasted a quarter of a block of very expensive cheese, to have to throw it away. This product should be taken off of here for health reasons!
