I purchased this set of walkie-talkies due to my wife's disability and my occasional need to leave the home to go to the grocery store or other local businesses. Since these walkie-talkies were advertised as having up to 25-mile coverage, I thought I could leave one with my wife, and in the event she needed me for anything, she could call me. My mistake. The service from upstairs to downstairs was pretty good. When I took my morning walk, service deteriorated at 100 yards; after 400 yards, I could not receive service. These products were advertised as having a 25-mile range. Depending on the need, there are better products available.

Very clear to hear other person calling you.Like the distance to where you can receive a call. Keep track of my husband while he is working in the field. Or able to call him when he is in his garage. Love these walkie-talkie.

These radios work, but are not great. Two main issues I've observed in the month I've had them.1. You cannot begin talking as soon as you depress the microphone switch to transmit. If you do, the beginning of your transmission will not go through. This is ok if you know to wait to start talking, but creates a learning curve for some users.2. Sound quality of the speakers is ok at best. It's just not as clear as slightly more expensive competitors.I bought these hoping they were worth it. For occasional use, I'd be happy with them, For daily use, I'm not. I'll keep them in use on our farm, but it will be as back up units for guests, and not my go-to radio. I've had really good luck with Midland's products and was simply hoping that these Cobras would perform as well at a more reasonable price.

La verdad esperaba mejor funcionamiento. Alcance muy bajo en ciudad, la pila dura buen tiempo pero sin tener una referencia clara en el display se van a cero.
