About this item

  • Pre-Rinsed & Pre-Screened Coco Coir - Every block of Plantonix Coco Bliss has been screened multiple times through an extremely small filter to get rid of any traces of fiber, sand, and rocks. This is what sets Plantonix coco coir apart, giving you the purest and cleanest possible coco coir for plants, unlike others who don’t filter their coco core for impurities.
  • 100% Natural Soil Amendment for Plants - Coco peat is a 100% organic and renewable soil amendment that works perfectly as soil for gardening, succulents, herb planters, seedlings, vegetables, flowers, indoor house plants, indoor gardens, and as a mulch medium. Simply expand in water, then mix with potting soil for indoor plants or outdoor plants.
  • Excellent Moisture Retention - After expanding in water, coconut coir bricks can be broken up and used as seed starter soil in gardening pots, garden containers, and garden terraces. Coco fiber retains moisture to keep plants hydrated, even in dry or humid weather. With a high cation exchange capacity (CEC) and neutral pH, using coco coir bulk greatly improves nutrient uptake.
  • Improves Soil Structure & Aeration - Every coconut soil block promotes soil aeration and drainage, creating air pockets that prevent soil compaction while allowing oxygen to reach plant roots more efficiently. As the coco husk breaks down, it adds organic matter to planting soil, improving overall soil fertility in potting mixes and seed starting mixes.
  • Sustainable Growing Medium - Organic coconut coir bricks for plants are made from renewable coconut husks that would otherwise be thrown away. Unlike regular peat moss, coconut coir for plants is 100% natural and doesn’t contribute to the destruction of natural wetlands, making coconut fiber substrate an environmentally sustainable choice for your growing needs!

I like the size of the bricks. One or two in a bucket works perfectly when replanting or adding where needed.

These are amazing! A single block expanded to fill 8, 9x13 trays. My microgreen seeds all sprouted within 2-3 days. These blocks are convenient and easy to store. I am blown away and will be buying again!!

Easy to handle and use single block coco coir as needed. I use these single blocks to add to my soil for my small containers. I bought the large single block for filling my large containers. The single blocks are great for smaller projects. Coco coir helps holding in moisture, which comes in handy in the hot climate I live in. I place one block in a 5 gallon bucket, add hot water and let it expand. Once it expands, I add my other soils and fertilizers.

I do not have enough good things to say about Coco Coir. After lots of research to minimize the number of pesticides and harmful soils to grow my own fruits and veggies from seeds, I came across this product and have since repurchased 2 more times! My zinnias sprouted within 3-5 days compared to ones I started in MiracleGro soil which took over 1 week in the same type of containers and same growing environment. The pellets expanded quickly and made an abundance of soil. I also mixed CocoCoir with a bit of Perlite as others suggested and once my seeds started to sprout, also introduced a natural fertilizer. This was great at keeping the house gnat population at bay as well. Great product and I don't mind spending a bit more for the quality!

I mix a brick or two of coir with a 2 cubic foot bag of Pro Mix to increase moisture retention in my containers. I use a small kids plastic swimming pool as a container for mixing the items with water.
