I cook ground beef at my business atleast 3 times a week and I felt like I was going through an entire roll of paper towels every time I cooked it to drain the grease. This has not only been a time saver but so efficient. It was durable and it held a lot of grease. I just waited till the grease harden then threw it in the trash!

I always hated having to catch the grease when draining. This is perfect. It all fits together, throw it in the fridge and dump when cold. I wish I would have bought this years ago.

I have one already and like it so much I ordered another one. Use it for straining ground beef, spaghetti and other items.I honestly cannot think of a reason why this colander/strainer could be bad.

I have been searching for more of a "press" for the beef I cook slightly for my GSD. I need to be able to press out all the fat from the beef I cook for my pup, and I had to finally just settle for this strainer, and I use a potato type masher to press out as much of the fat after a slight cooking of the beef. Cleanup is just paper towels either left in the bottom tray, or afterwards, many times both has to be done. Its not a perfect solution/method, but it works good enough for now

I have had this product for a number of years and love it. It strains ground beef thoroughly and catches the grease in its own container for easy disposal or easy saving (bacon grease) complete with its own cover. Then the strainer can be popped into the dishwasher for easy clean-up. Bits of cooked hamburger do not stick in the drain slots like they do in the wires of a metal strainer. I just ordered one for my two daughters-in-law who have August birthdays!

I would give it a 5 star rating it it was wider. Try as I might meat always falls off to the wayside. You hold the handle and try to slide the hamburger into the middle but skillets are much wider and it just doesn’t work well for that purpose. But all the grease does fit inside the container and three lbs of burger will fit in the colander portion.

Very sturdy plastic. At first I thought that this was silly, but now I wish I had bought one years ago!! It makes life SO much easier any time I am cooking burger (or anything with grease)!!! The base “lid” or container that catches the grease is so simple, yet so functional!! Pour the cooked meat into the strainer, (strainer sits snugly on the grease catcher) then you can pick up the strainer and keep cooking! Leave the grease to cool and then it is extremely easy to clean out!! I wish I had gotten one of these sooner!!
