Well, didn't find the instructions at a level a beginner could understand. Did not end up anything like the picture....no doubt that's my poor skills but still dissappointing. If it's DIY for beginners, I think way more detailed step by step instructions are needed because we got an "easy" one because we have no clue how to do this.

This is not ideal for beginners or kids who don’t have long attention spans. It requires a video tutorial and you have to master a certain stitch before progressing. Suitable for older kids.

It’s nice having a kit but past being able to reuse the the pattern and the hook for other projects it’s not worth it. The yarn is not good quality and consistently splits. The video to follow for instructions didn’t work, and if you follow the guide on how to switch you won’t be able to do the eyes. Would not buy again.

This is SO cute and was the perfect gift for my boyfriend’s 13 year old daughter.This was also significantly cheaper than anything similar I found locally.

First I will say that the video instructions are a bit hard to follow if your a beginner. This kit comes with everything you need to complete all three stuffies. I like that they also included instruction books for each animal as I found that most helpful. The yarn is okay quality. The colors are very bright and vivid. Overall for the value it is a pretty good starter set that has everything you need to get started!

If this is your first time, this is a great starter piece. Just know you need patience. There are a lot of different ways you will need to knit and there are a lot of abbreviations (that you can go back and reference at the beginning of the book). When you start, just make sure you have plenty of time to try and retry and focus. After a bit, it is super easy!! I am working on these with my 7 year old daughter. I would recommend!!
