First that will be helpful is this takes a 25 mm deep socket. Installed on my 92 Ford F150 V8 5.0. After installing the part, reconnecting the harness and the battery the truck fired up and my high Idle Rpm was solved…or so I thought. After starting the truck up several hours later The temp sensor had failed. I then spent $18 thinking it was the harness…replaced that (to no avail). Then $26 to buy a new Duralast coolant temp sensor. Save your self the stress. Don’t buy cheap parts, cost double i’m the long run.

Have a 94 bronco 5.0 that would start no problem when cold. Once it’s heated up it would just turn over and not fire. Let it sit and cool. Then it would start again. Replaced this sensor and all is fine now. Drive it all over and no fear of it not starting on the next stop.

Been replacing lots of parts on my 92 f150 with 245,000 + miles, as most were still the original parts. This is a part that plays a part in the idling. Engine is running very well now.
