This grinder has a rechargeable battery which lasts quite a while on a charge. Don’t over load it and you’ll be fine, over load it and it will actually stall it out, otherwise it does the job, I like the choice of selecting how long you want it to grind for your specific size. Well made unit 😎

The one time this grinder worked I loved it. After that, nothing. No chance to return now that the date for returns has passed. Do not recommend!!!

This is a well-designed and well-built gadget/grinder. I was impressed with the casing, the grinder compartment and the cover’s locking mechanism securing the blade from accidental touching! This grinder has a powerful motor powered by a re-chargeable battery. The stainless steel grinding bowl secures on the grinder and after the clear plastic cover is properly placed, must be turned to lock in place (check the lock/un-Lock icons). Unless all the pieces are properly placed and locked in place, the grinder will NOT work! Great security feature. I must add that a blade grinder is not the best way that one can grind coffee beans. There is a different grinder type identified as a “burr grinder” that treats the coffee beans better/more gentle. If you are a coffee aficionado, you probably already know. I am just fine with blade grinding for those small and infrequent times that I need to grind a small amount. And this grinder is perfect for us. Anyway, the impressive power of this grinder is also ideal for grinding any spice. The only thing that you have to worry about is thoroughly cleaning the grinder if you grind different class of items. You probably already know that coffee beans contain an oily residue that dish soap cannot remove. So to clean my grinder thoroughly, I use white vinegar! Pour a little white vinegar in the grinding bowl, let it soak for 5-10 minutes, run the grinder for a few seconds and rinse well. Let it air dry so the smell of the vinegar dissipates and you are ready! The grinder also has a timer. It works well and can be set for a up 30 seconds. You can see it count down and then shut-off. Great product for a reasonable price.
