These came well taped in a small sturdy cardboard box, so the shape and integrity of the funnels was protected during shipping. There was a strong chemical smell in the box, but the funnels in the plastic bag didn't have a bad odor.When I put this in the engine oil opening, it tips a bit to the side but holds its position well enough that it does not need to be held while using. These definitely makes it easier to add oil to the engine.The listing title says 50, but in the information in the listing it says there are 25. There are actually 25 in the pack I received.

Don't let the small little hole at the end make you avoid these, you can snip off as much as you want with a pair of scissors and have a bigger hole for your motor oil or whatever....good value, decent quality, I mean they are disposable and you'll use them once so that's why they are paper. 10 bucks for 25 is a good deal, just think of all the little aggravations and cleanups they will save you for mere pennies.

So I actually haven't got around to using this with motor oil yet, but I've used them with a variety of other liquids/materials. Laundry soap, dish soap, quinoa - these funnels excel at helping getting something cleanly and effortlessly into some kind of container. Very convenient to have around!

- They have an odd smell so I wouldn’t try using with food.- They are extremely thin (regular copy paper weight) with a very thin layer of wax on the inside and then strip of glue to seal the seam. However, they did still manage to hold water for more than 3 minutes (stopped testing at that point) without structural weakening.- The bottom opening is 10mL.- The price is very overpriced. The going rate for these is 50% or less of the current $16. And we’re talking about 12 pieces of 8x11” copy paper. I make cake decorating funnel shaped icing bags out of parchment paper that are a fraction of the cost and could just as easily be made to use for these uses. All you have to do is diagonally wrap the paper around itself with the corner being the tip, you don’t even have to glue it closed.

These are great to have around, so many uses.The hole is a little small so you can cut them a little bigger if you want for say, engine oil filling.But for something like olive oil filling a small bottle, sprayer, etc., the hole is perfect.I worked at a paper company where I was taught paper is a renewable resource. Don't waste it. But use it. Then replant at least double what you used.That's why I love paper products, they are so versatile and biodegradable.These are really handy.5 stars.
