Works great and just what I was looking for! Very easy to assemble, I did it without instruction in less then 5 minutes. I was hesitant to go for a darker one, but it has a retro vibe to it which I love. Great value and find!

That holder was easy to put together and seems to be made of good quality material and is very functional. I like how it is just the right size for my smaller yarn projects.

I used a light weight yarn, in a small skein, even though there are photo's of larger one's. No matter what I did this did NOT hold the yarn -- it kept falling and tipping over. Falsely advertised.

This product has made crocheting so much better for me! It holds my yarn in place and works smoothly. Very easy to assemble and looks decorative as well.

While this product is well made, and will be useful in the future, it does not work for large (1#) skeins. So, I use the dowel only and I think that might work.

….the magnet really does hold the yarn, rolled up or straight out of the package. Mine fell the first night I glued it still works. It is a wonderful tool.
