You may be aware that they make plenty of exhaust systems for a 4th gen Civic hatchback but not a whole lot for us sedan owners. That means you have searched and searched and now, you have finally found one of the few exhaust systems left that are available for your 4th gen Civic sedan. You'll be excited that you would have ordered this exhaust system only to find out it's missing hardware just like the two reviewers who posted below. Your first thought would be to return this but then you would realize where else can you get an exhaust for your civic sedan. Fortunely there is hope. Search up 'DNA exhaust flange gasket' on eBay and purchase three of their 56mm 2 bolt flange gasket and one 54mm 3 bolt flange gasket. Next, head over to a hardware store and purchase nuts and bolts. You'll need at least six nuts and six bolts. I say at least because the bolts on the cat do get rusty and can break during removal so you'll have to replace them with new ones. It should set you back between $40-$50 for gaskets,nuts and bolts and a week to wait for your gaskets. Installation for this was simple. Remove the old exhaust, place the new one next to it to see where the bends are supposed to go and install! Fitment is going to be very good. Let's talk about sound. It sounds ricey but what did you except for a cheap exhaust. I'm fine with it, and you should be too. Who cares if someone thinks it sounds like a rice rocket, it's your rice rocket. Be proud of it! This gives our sedans a whole new look!!! You will be getting compliments on how great this exhaust looks and how nice the four inch tip looks. You won't be able to stop staring at it when you are walking up to your sedan! Enjoy it because as of the time of writing this review, it isn't available but as soon as one becomes available, pick it up ASAP! You won't regret it!

So, the welds are decent, the piping is finished nicely, and the diameter is about twice that of stock at nearly 2.25”. The bad: you get absolutely ZERO hardware in this kit. No gaskets, no bolts, no mounting hardware at all. I had to go to my auto parts store and get a mish-mash of gaskets for all kinds of cars, whatever fit. Then Home Depot to find new bolts and nuts that are long enough and the same stock size. Even then, it’s still not mounted on my car, so I’m running a muffler delete right now. Not even using it due to complications with it. Overall, I’d it came with hardware then I’d rate it a solid 4. Since it didn’t, and the headache since: I rate it a 3. And only that because the construction itself isn’t bad.Update: the exhaust is now mounted and it does indeed work. Saw gains of about 7hp. The piping rattles a whole bunch, though. Sound is nice, isn’t raspy or too poppy. I’d buy another one if it came with hardware.

Want customer service? Then don't buy from DNA. The hardware wasn't included and when we tried to call, no answer. Left 2 emails and finally got a response. "They are looking into the issue". I sent another email 1 week later to follow up. Zero response. This was all in a 4 week span. Each new email, still left unanswered. Horrible. Buy name brand! Buy quality!

Very good sounding exhaust, not too ricey, has good deep tone. You have to use your converter, it's from converter back the kit comes with , highly recommend it. Perfect fit on my 91 civic 4 door.
