Damper that was sent to me has obviously been sent to someone else before, mounted, removed improperly, sent back as a returned item, and then sent to me. Mounting marks clearly present, hammer marks all over that has knocked the outer dampening ring out of alignment from the hub. Glad I inspect all parts before installation because this would have wiped out a customer's engine.

Typical sub-standard quality from 'outsourced' manufacturing... Dorman QC (quality control) seems nonexistent.$112 for a mis-aligned 'balancer'? Two chunks of iron bonded with rubber, and they couldn't align the surfaces on a hydraulic press in China?The bonded rubber material was not flush with the surfaces of the hub and intertia ring... worse than the -old- balancer it was intended to replace, i.e. According the the Cummins factory service manual, this 'new' unit was out of spec more than my old worn out balancer.

the harmonic balancer worked great and looked good while spinning on my truck. i highly recommend this product to anyone who has to buy a new one. plus it was cheaper than any parts store
