Our Sienna spare tire lift rusted out. We replaced it with this Dorman. Sometimes Dorman can be hit and miss. But, this spare tire lift was easily of better quality than the original, installed as though it were OEM with no modification, and is easy to operate. HOWEVER, the nut to operate the lift is 5-point, not hex, so your lug nut wrench won't work to lower the tire. You'll need to purchase an adapter. Just look up "sienna spare tire lift 5-point socket". I put the socket on the handle for the jack so I'd have it when needed. I wish I had known about this ahead of time, but it wasn't a big deal.

I wanted to check the air pressure of my spare tire. The tire lowered down just fine, but then it would not raise up. I realized the factory tire winch was no longer working. I easily replaced it with this unit. This unit fits perfectly and seems well built. I raised and lowered the tire a couple of times and everything seems good to go.

Part almost fit, with a little file work and a different fastener I was able to secure it to the vehicle, but that was before I noticed the lowering nut was a 5 sided pentagon instead of a normal 6 sided nut. It won't work with the tools for changing the tire... I had to use a 12pt 7/8" socket to fit....I never would have kept it if I hadn't already modified it to fit...,

Product installed easily and appears to work great.Unfortunately the 5 Point bolt did not fit with my Lug wrench and I needed to purchase that afterwards.Would have been nice to include that in the kit.

Exact fit for a 2004 Toyota Sienna. Side by side ground comparison to the old one, It looks as if it won't fit properly but I came to realize that the slight bend on the new one is because of the offset of the rod at the cable pulley. (New design) The old rod is attached about mid way on the pulley assembly but there is no difference when installed. This Dorman replacement has the same 5 sided nut as the new Toyota replacement so you will not be able to use the tire tool (6 sided) to remove the spare tire. I will carry a crescent wrench in the glove box instead of purchasing the special tool from Toyota. For about 50 bucks less you have the same part that Toyota sells for ~ $130.00. Winner winner chicken dinner!
