They work well for what they are, just a little fragile, easier to break than I would have hoped. I'd still order again for the price

These were difficult to use. Made the whole process of locating and cutting out junction box locations more complicated and time consuming. Would like to find a more accurate way to mark and cut out boxes in drywall.

i spent 30 bucks for the magnetic version to get just one. THis comes with 12. I didn't have the movement problem as described by others. Perhaps they were trying to use it in a double dim. If that was the case i would just put painters tape of the box and unit.

Tried these out on a Sheetrock job with 5/8 going on metal studs. When we tried it the electrical boxes would bend back before the spike would come through.

This is a really simple design that worked perfectly. Just pop it on the outlet and square up the drywall before giving it a bit of pressure to make an indention you can use to pattern the outlet hole. Really takes the guesswork out of it for those like myself that sometimes end up measuring twice (incorrectly) and cutting 4 times.

Like them, but i don't love them. It is really convenient to use them, once you figure out how. For me it is a little to much effort. It takes just a few moments with out. My main problem is the thickness of the metal. It is challenging to push it through the sheet rock.It could be improved a bit by making the tip sharper. That is what I Personally did and it helped. it does not solve the bigger shaft, but its workable. I will give it another shot, overall i think with some practice it can save you time. Never mind you might need a hole saw for around the plumbing.
