This was a huge fail - my daughter had me get this for her for our 11 hour plane ride last month and the string kept breaking therefore she did not get very far in this project.

The way they look on the box they are adorable & I had high hopes. I got them as a Christmas present. I already know how to crochet & I couldn’t figure out the directions. I’ll try again but definitely not for beginners. I’m bummed the directions weren’t easier to follow.

Such a great kit, and I love that you can make 2! I am a beginner at crocheting and the guide was very easy to follow. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is trying to learn!

I bought all 5 sets of the ice cream cone kits. Each kit makes 3 cones and it comes with everything you need. There is also enough to make a possible multi color 4th cone. And the yarn supplied is the cotton nylon tubular style beginner friendly yarn. The FairCosy brand has some really great kits if you can find them. And at $9.99 they were a great price.

It also has many pamphlets of instructions along with patterns that show pictures and diagrams. One instruction manual also shows you how to crochet along with pictures and words.
