Wasn’t sure about this at first but it works great. Just like the original. Actually seems like it charges faster than the original but not sure. Anyways. Works great.

This new charger will charge the old battery but not the battery that was recommended to go with this chager.

This worked fine, and my old battery fit into it perfectly. The trouble was the BATTERY itself. It wouldn't charge, because it was dead. I needed a new battery, not a new charger, so I returned it. Got the new battery, put it into the old charger, and it works great.

Simply put...this works great. We ended up with the wires on our Hoover charger getting damaged but at over $100 just for the charger for the Linx system it would have been almost as cheap to buy a brand new vacuum. This works just great, overall the same design but with different light patterns I think as it is charging, but for the money this was well worth it and charged the battery up very quickly.
