these work great so easy to install on my Gladiator.the most important thing to know is the bracket for the trunk took some figuring out on how but once you do the first one pretty easy to do you will need pick tool though.

Bought these for my short girlfriend who was having trouble raising the hood but the hood release wouldn’t let it pop up. This fixed that problem. In addition to the installation of these struts made easier for her to raise the hood and not have to negotiate the prop rod. I would highly recommend these for that reason alone. Not to mention that it makes it easier to work around under the hood. Hope tjis helps.

These do exactly what they should do!As a side note, as much as Jeep wranglers cost they should come stock with these already installed but they dont.

Okay, this had potential. And it was for a Ford Mustang. But.... the instructions were terrible! The tools it said needed weren't correct, and the wording was not very clear, or accurate (see pic). On step 3, it says "(1) Installation of Hood Inserts" for the Fender brackets. Then, try to get the fender brackets to tighten, they will just spin around as there is nothing to catch.I finally got them tightened, but one side came loose after opening and closing. And if you try to check the reviews, they were mainly for other vehicles. Would not recommend!

I installed the shocks and where the lower mount bolts to and it's really flimsy. I made a 1/4 in spacer, a 1/4 in bolt, and nut, and put it through the hole behind the bracket to reinforce the mount. Still a little flimsy but better, we'll see what happens.

Great product but insanely terrible instructions. Beyond terrible. Had they taken just one complete view in their diagrams it would have been easy to figure out. They give you isolated views that leave much detailed subject matter out of view. To add to the confusion they inject left and right hand isolated views. A simple job took 8 times longer than needed. My friend and I, (both aviation mechanics) took 3 hours to do a simple 45 min. job. They worked great after the installation.One complete picture is all we needed. None supplied. Very frustrating. China.
