I got this to grind up eggshells for my birds. OMG I wish I’d done this much sooner! I was smashing eggshells with a mortar and pestle and my birds were still eating around the eggshells. (They’re a very good source of calcium!)I popped the eggshells into this grinder and in 15-20 sec, I’ve got a fine dust that I can sprinkle over their food. Beautiful! Good functionality, grind quality and tolerable noise level. I can’t speak to the durability since I’ve only had it a week but durability aside, the value for money is good since I’m not wasting time crushing eggshells manually anymore! No smell or odors.Only downside is I end up with a ring of white eggshell dust around the base of the grinder after use. I suspect there must be an imperfect seal around the cap? It’s no big deal but wanted to mention in case this is a deal breaker for anyone.

I purchased this Gevi One-Touch Button Electric Coffee Grinder specifically for use in grinding some coarse spices I had purchased. I am pleased to say that it does an excellent job of quickly grinding rosemary and other spices into a much more usable form. It really doesn't take much to turn some coarse spices into a very fine powder. Just a few seconds in this grinder will usually do the trick!Since I only drank instant coffee I really have no way to tell how well it grinds coffee beans, but I can attest that it does an excellent job on spices. I like the fact that it is compact, and you just plug it into a wall socket to use it. You can even store the power cord inside of the grinder base and only pull out the amount of cord you actually need. I consider this an excellent and very useful kitchen tool for a very modest price.

A bit messy, the cup quien do not fully seal, so you ended up with grounded coffee all over your kitchen counter.
