The lockout is made in the USA from recycled plastic, and measures 3 1/2"L x 2 1/2"W. The universal fit closure accepts cords up to 1/2" diameter, and up to 2"W x 3"L plugs. The device accommodates 3 padlocks with shackles up to 9/16" diameter. Anti-pry tabs secure lids for maximum protection, and the tapered design can be nested. The device includes an English/Spanish bilingual instructional label, which reads, "DO NOT PLUG IN. " Zing Large Plug Lockout is UL Validated for recycled content, and supports sustainability initiatives and LEED credits.

This product provides a physical “reminder” to my 80-year old neighbor to not water the grass between our houses with my water. It’s my second home, I’m away from this home 80% of the time. Yes, I have cams but he doesn’t seem to think anything of using my city water to water his property. This product seems to be providing a physical barrier and one more step the neighbor doesn’t want to take to help himself to my water supply, it provides a level of inconvenience to him.I’m not sure he could get into the hose if he wanted to without damaging my fixture. Plus, he physically is deterred now, I’m not willing to share expensive Florida city water.Also, I think he’s embarrassed as the other neighbors can see this red block out on my fixture and it addresses my issues I’ve had privately with this neighbor, more publicly…which also might be what he needed. Very happy with this product, wish they were all this beneficial!One of the reasons I’d prefer this neighbor to not use my water, besides cost of water, is that someone borrowed water and didn’t fully turn the water off causing a slow drip for over a month before I realized. It’s best to keep neighbors away from your house and this will physically deter them if they don’t honor polite verbal requests to keep their hands off your home!😊

This lockout I use in my own personal itsms I have brought to work. It can hold a large plug and also a square plug. This has worked so well to keep my co workers hands off my things that I bought another one. Durable and easy to use.

Not rigid enough. Someone could get the plug out and put it back without you ever knowing.

Was very effective in putting an end to my neighbors using my washer and dryer when I was at work. It’s larger than I expected. Was able to fit an oversized dryer plug & standard size washer plug. It didn’t close perfectly but the lockout is adjustable. Great product, would recommend to a friend.

So this lockout is actually quite large. It says "small", so I was expecting it to fit only one plug. However, I can fit 2 standard plugs in this at one time, as there is a hole on each side for the cords. Double whammy! I can lock up the TV AND the computer if I need to. That was a nice surprise.I bought this to lock up the TV or video games on my children. My teenager was getting up in the middle of the night to play video games while he was grounded...by chance I caught him one night. Anyhow, this little piece of plastic has done the trick. I lock up the TV at night and unlock in when all the chores are done the next day. Viola! His room has never been so clean before!Gone are the days of children sneaking electronics when they are grounded. No more having to unhook game systems to hide them in my room. Just slap this bad boy on and watch the kids do their chores, read books, interact with each other, or play outside. If I say "No video games while am at work.", I can ensure that the game system is locked up while they still have access to the TV. This really helps to regulate the time they are allowed to spend on electronics.In conclusion, this was the best 20 bucks I have spent in a long time, and it is a must have item for any parent. I would highly recommend this to anyone with children or sneaky teenagers.

We have a large popcorn popper at work that sits in our lunch room. We provide popcorn once a week and sell it for just enough to buy more supplies. We needed to make sure it wasn't used over the weekends, so we bought lockout devise to keep the popcorn machine from being plugged in. It does the job! I give 4 starts because it is heavy duty plastic and although I don't anticipate anyone doing this in our building, I think someone desperate could find a way to break it open.
