I purchased this unit out of need. However, you have to download not only the Hitech software for the device but software called Net Frame 3 .5 to get it to work. After numerous attempts of trying to get the DPC11 to connect with my computer, I abandoned it. Thankful that I only spent $22 and change on dome thing that I can't get to work. Could be the DCP11 device is bad but I am no longer going to waist time on it. The instructions for the device is of such small print a magnifying glass is required to read them. I use alot of Hitech servos without issue. I do not recommend the DPC 11 device.

Excelente producto. Rápidisima entrega y muy buen precio!! Lo utilicé en servos HS-7xxx y jaló a la perfección. Para instalar los drivers en Windows 10 les recomiendo deshabilitar en la PC la verificación de los drivers desde Bios.

The driver is not digitally signed and Microsoft will not install it . Restart your computer and press f8 which will bring up the start menu - click on " disable driver signature enforcement "

A majority of my servos are higher end Hitec for large gassers, and never really considered the need to program my servos until I found that jitter can be reduced by adjusting the deadband width. That made me realize another important point, that I purchase a lot of used servos, and I need to make sure they haven't been programmed causing unexpected results.I plugged this device in with a mini usb I had on hand (you'll need to buy one if you don't have one) and my windows 7 machine recognized it and installed the driver automagically. I downloaded and installed the Hitec user interface, it fired up and detected that the DPC-11 was connected. I plugged a 7955 servo into the device, it recognized the servo and I was ready to make adjustments.Worked exactly like stated and was completely plug and play.

Works perfectly (Windows 10) but you have to put the work in. The troubleshooting instructions on the hitec website will guide you through. It's not plug and play. Once it's going, it's so much nicer than the handheld programmer. you will need a USB to MINI (not micro) USB 2.0 compliant cable...that's it, assuming you have the same power source available that you use on your receiver (6v dc with the servo/battery style plug)

Tried to use on WIndows 8.1 and believe it or not, Windows XP. On XP it consistently hangs while trying to install drivers (per instruction) and even after manually installing the drivers. No go. On 8.1 it also fails to install drivers claiming the INF lacks a digital signature. Finally located a compatible driver by downloading an entire SDK from the chip maker. Now it "connects" but the software doesn't recognize the digital servos it claims to support. On top of all that, the product label was installed backwards and obscures the status LEDs. TERRIBLE QUALITY...

Took an entire day to install this garbage software. Only to find it out that it doesn't recognize the servo that it was designed to recognize.Super pissed at Hitec. Will be getting my money back.

I needed the DPC-11 so that I could reverse a D645MW Servo it works perfectly. In order to use this you need 3 things:1. 6 v wall adapter Get it here: http://www.amazon.com/T-Power-Rainforest-Butterfly-Replacement-switching/dp/B00GBG0XRC?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s002. You need a dc plug socket to usb like cable get it here: [...]Get model: MBL-25x55-FJ3.You also need a USB to micro usb cable.
