It fits well into the nostril with a decent seal and allows a sterile saline flush to serve as a makeshift nasal irrigation device without the added cost. It’s not clear what the longevity of each individual tip is: if they’re meant to be discarded regularly, it’s a bit wasteful; if it’s to be cleaned and used many times over, there’s plenty more than the number an average household should need in the package. It does screw onto a standard Luer lock syringe but by means of compressing the silicone base into the adapter rather than smoothly threading.
