It's great and works the way it should. It cleans the solder off my tips, and there is no risk of burning myself. The silicone is heat resistant, and the brass wool stays snugly inside. The box contained one silicone holder, three individually packed brass wool, and a soldering iron stand.

I am a novice solder so not that experienced, but this product worked well for me. I am sure more experienced or professional solderers have other products that may work better for them. But for my level and the value that you get, it is comparable to or even better than other products on the market.The soldering stand is cheap and I would not recommend using it. The sponge that is provided is adequate. I have used better ones, but it is adequate if you don't have one. The holder fits the brass wire just fine and have no issue using it. Though I wish it had more weight or grip to help keep it in place.Overall I enjoyed using this product and can recommend it to others to use or at least give it a try.

I usually use a wet sponge to clean off the tips of my soldering irons. I saw this and thought I would see how well it worked instead of a sponge.The pictures show a before and after cleaning of the tips with brass. It works quite well. The kit comes with three balls of brass wire, a silicone holder, and a soldering iron stand.I gave this kit four stars because the silicone holder is light and wants to move around or fall over when cleaning the tip. (Adding a couple of large washers fixes that problem.) Another reason- the soldering iron stand is too small and I wouldn't consider using it.If you haven't used brass to clean your soldering tips, give this kit a try.

This is a simple yet functional holder for your brass wool to clean the tip of your soldering iron. The silicone is heat resistant which is an improvement over the metal ones like this. It includes 3 pieces of brass wool and they are good quality other than the metal shavings some seem to include. I didn't even realize this had an iron stand, and I have a good one I use so this one is superfluous. The price is great for this and will be a nice addition to your workbench.

This is the typical brass wool cleaner used to adsorb excess solder from the soldering iron. It performs as expected and looks decent. It’s very simple in design and easy to use.
