So I bought this be a use I was moving out of an apartment that I needed to fill in some holes from where the curtain rods were mounted. It was missing the spackle knife. It didn’t leave a point for that. It lost a point because it was kind of like joint compound but more rubbery. It’s kind of hard to explain. I wish I just got compound instead. It was hard to apply and kinda of sticky.

I moved into an older mobile home and in the master bath, the toilet was separated from the rest of the room by a door...one that had been slammed against a short wall and made a decent-sized hole in that wall. I used this kit to patch it. I did find the material to be a bit...not sure how to describe the consistency, but it was hard to spread over the patch material. I have a heat gun with a very low setting (a craft heat gun) and used it on the material - seems to have worked to make the stuff more spreadable which is what I needed, but to those who make this stuff - it really needs to be thinner, more spreadable. It worked okay for covering my bathroom door hole.

The sand paper and patch it came with are way too small. It might work for holes in your walls, but not cracks. The compound was way too thick and goopy which caused a bigger mess. The putty knife was alright, but it's plastic so I don't know how well it could do against a metal putty knife. It's better to spend more money and buy the items separately and you get a better results

I am a newbie to home repairs done by me (haha), but the instructions were easy to follow and it was super simple to use. Comes with everything you need to repair a hole. the one I fixed was were an ADT system was installed so it was maybe 2 x 2

This kit has everything needed for small drywall repairs. All of the included supplies work as expected. Dry time is moderate. Do use as little thickness of application as possible to minimize shrinking and cracking.Lid seals well for reuse of left over spackling material.
