There’s not much to this KVM - if you want to connect two PC’s to one set of Keyboard/Video/Mouse - buy this today. The switch is plug-n-play, very easy installation. There are no drivers or anything - i use this with a couple of Raspberry Pi’s and the metal enclosures is a great departure from all plastic devices out there. You can add more USB devices to the hub directly and they’ll be available to the host devices - but that can be less than seamless. I am not blaming that on the switch, though since all switches can do that. The build quality is great. The switch itself is USB-C powered so it’s VERY versatile in its function. When using with Windows PC’s with different GPU’s, you may need to shut the monitor off and back on, i have found but keyboard and mouse so far are solid.

I needed to add a second computer but didn't want to clutter my desk with an extra monitor or having to unplug cables. This works well for this purposed and works great so far without any issues. Works just as well or better as the old style KVM switches from the late 90s and early 00s.

If I wanted to have to downgrade my video quality, I would be using a different KVM, because there are lots of KVMs that run 1080P and 4K30/60.I have 4K144 and it just doesn't work reliably with this rez. When switching computers, it sometimes drops devices.10 or more times doing this, and I just... gave up.Now, at 1080P144, it works fine so it's gotta be something related to the rez. Overloading maybe? That doesn't make sense. A decent option for 1080P but I found it unreliable at anything over 4K30. YMMV, but that's my story.

This is a KVM switch to hook two PCs up to share a single HDMI monitor and USB keyboard and mouse.I only tested and used it with a 4K60 monitor and display quality was excellent. It may just be the way the instructions were translated, but it does say "...theoretically supports up to 8K@60 4K@144HZ resolution and refresh rate". I didn't test it at higher than 4K60 though but the "theoretically" statement does give me pause about using this at higher refresh rates. In addition there are other reviewers who had problems using this KVM at higher monitor refresh rates. I plan on testing it myself at higher refresh rates in the future and update this review accordingly.Since there is no hot key switching the only way to switch PCs is to either press the button or use the desktop controller remote switch. Some KVMs don't include an option for a remote switch, and I found it a nice option to be able to locate the cables and switch out of sight with just the desktop controller switch on my desktop. This is a decent KVM switch for HDMI and USB peripherals but I only tested at 4K60.

Overall, it seems to work mostly fine. So far, I haven't had success swapping without needing to unplug and plug in my mouse for it to be fully recognized, but keyboard and monitor have been working fine.It is annoying that they use non-standard USB-A to USB-A cables. Thankfully they're included. They work, but they're not standard, so if you need longer lengths, you're probably out of luck.No HDMI cables included, so, you'll probably need at least one more than you have been using.Other than that, no complaints.

Product functions as described, I found set up to be extremely easy as well as usage, very useful for those who need to control both Regular Desktop machine as well as locally hosted server, securely via direct wire control. Power delivery was also fine for my basic input devices

I ordered this not for use with our computers but rather with a TV that lacks enough HDMI ports. For our purposes it works more or less as we need but it's not ideal. We are currently using it to switch between an Xbox and a Roku stick, so we decide the input and then use the device. It's a bit clunky to have to manually switch but I understand that its technically for a computer desk but with that said, a remote would be nice. I also notice that every once in a while, we need to do a double switch for it to kick in, not often but it does happen occasionally. I also think that the price point is a bit more than they should be asking for a device that is fairly straightforward and basic in its operation. I actually have a similar device from a different manufacturer that works well and cost less money. Overall, I would say that for what I am using it for, it works but there might be better options for you if you look around.
