I bought this pair for a '96 Land Rover Discovery (SD-5sp)with 93,000 miles. The OEMs were work and leaking and the KYBs are and OEM replacement. I put a set of GR-2's in my Land Cruiser and we are very pleased (Wife's Daily Driver) The set for the Disco seem to provide more of a harsh, off-road, don't forget this is a truck sort of ride. Not bad mind you and better to have too firm than too soft when needed. The truck handles well again and is much more stable which is great. Freeway miles are fine but it is noticeable (because new?) on some local roads in need of repair...On teh bench, they are the same extended length as OEM but feel more "stout". I'm pleaed with the purchase and the price point. It would be cheaper to have Sears order and install, and maybe the right way to go for a truck with 93k, but this guy has served us well since new and deserves a little better that Monroes... Tom
