I installed both the front and rear struts and they made a huge difference in ride! Feels like a new car! And, as inexpensive as these are, it's worth it to replace them every few years just to keep that new ride feel. I'm not sure what the expected lifetime is, but after the first month, they still feel great and I have had no problems with them! It was actually harder removing the existing ones, because the lower bolts had little clearance, but KYB redesigned the spot where the lower nuts go so they are easier to get a wrench or socket in the space! Good job, KYB! No special tools are required for my car - just a basic socket and wrench set. Installation took just over an hour. Just be sure to set the car on level ground and re-tighten the top strut nuts so they seat properly.
