It is a laminator. It has one job, and it does it well. I use it with the Scotch brand laminating sleeves and have not had any trouble. The paper cutter and corner punch are a nice bonus.

I purchased this after reading the glowing reviews for this laminator. It does heat up very fast and laminates pretty quickly. I also like how all the accessories fit perfectly in the lid of the machine, but that's where the likes stop. It smells while running. It gets really hot (I could see heat coming up off of the machine) and the cord is SO SHORT that I could barely reach the outlet and still put the machine on my table! Also, it didn't seem to really seal all of my projects. The edges were sealed but it didn't seal to the project I was laminating, leaving large spots that weren't clear to see.

Is an awesome looking but 2 major problems. The entire machine gets ver hot when turned on, even the plastic areas which is worrisome. Also, the most annoying is that 30 days after purchase, after the return window closed, it began making a horrible very loud screeching noise when turned on. I tried reaching out to the seller through Amazon but got no response.

Once I realized the extra parts were hidden in perfectly crafted locations under the lid of the unit, everything was hunky-dory! Easy to set up and use, laminates perfectly. I recommend getting the 5mil laminator sheets as they are a little more rigid and hold up better (my 2cents). Thank you Amazon for another great pic!

This laminator is lightweight & easy to use / carry with you. Out of the box it was as simple as plug-n-play. It heated up without hardly any waiting time and was easy to thread. Worth every penny!

I ordered this because I am an SLP. It is super easy to use and comes with accessories that make laminating worksheets very easy. It is easy and quick to use, along with being easy to store.
