This yarn organizer is great for knitters and crocheters. It has 2 fold-out pockets with elastic loops that are perfect for holding crochet hooks and knitting needles. There are also two additional pockets that are good for other accessories. The front is clear PVC when the front pocket is folded down. It has four grommets for threading yarn for easy access on the outside. The bag is a good size without being overly large and unwieldy. It comes with a 1” woven adjustable shoulder strap with metal clips attached to D-rings for easy carrying. There is no shoulder pad, so if you fill this up too full, it may dig into your shoulder. The outside of the bag is water resistant canvas to help keep your projects clean and dry. There is not a bottom stiffening board or feet on the bag to hold it flat on a table, though.

I love it! This bag is the perfect size. It's large enough to carry everything that I need but not so large that it's unwieldy. The features are carefully considered and well-constructed. I carry small crocheting projects with me when I sit with my mother during her chemotherapy treatments, and this bag is absolutely perfect for me. There are also two small zipper pockets on each end that I can use for small snacks. The shoulder strap makes it easy for me to carry the bag while keeping my hands free to help Mom. Excellent product!

PROS: looks just like it's pictured, it's bright and pretty; sturdy nylon canvas exterior; zippers run smoothly; shoulder strap included; center compartment can hold a good number of skeins, I haven't tried to pack it full but with four 100g skeins inside there's still room for probably another four 100g skeins; grommets provided for feeding yarn from up to four different skeins; front pocket holds knitting needles / crochet hooks securely and when it's completely open a clear plastic window reveals the contents of the center compartment; has a second zippered pocket to hold patterns or accessoriesCONS: none; I see where others say it's not big enough but I think unless you're making a blanket there's plenty of room for project yarn

I ordered this $33 Dasonwin yarn storage organizer (Amazon ASIN B0DPX71RWH) because I was running out of room in my old yarn bag, and I needed a bigger one to store everything in one place.Truth be told, I also love the "Blue Leaves" design, as that's the same design as my old (smaller) yarn storage bag too! It's a pretty design, although I'd never go so far as to claim it's a "stylish shoulder bag." It's a stylish organizer bag, maybe, but I wouldn't walk around town with this bag.Speaking of walking around town, though, the shoulder strap was comfortable, and even when filled with yarn and needles, it's still light enough to carry, particularly when visiting friends where I know there will be downtime by the fire. The bag is sized well to actually hold a substantial amount of yarn. And it has plenty of compartments and pockets. While I find the light blue plastic lining less aesthetically pleasing, it clearly provides the necessary water protection. The multiple compartments are effective in keeping items organized. And the slots and pockets for crochet hooks and knitting needles work well. I like that they designed in a transparent side pocket for monitoring the yarn supply, too. Although I know how much yarn I have, it's still nice to be able to see it there. Once packed, the yarns don't tangle, so that part is working better than expected.Overall, this bag makes it easy to transport and access my yarns and knitting supplies. I'm not sure why it needs to be waterproof, but that's a plus. I've fitted my essential tools into the bag, such as my US 7, 8, and 9 knitting needles, including circular needles, and my medium-weight, smooth yarn. It fits my scissors, tapestry needles for seaming projects, stitch markers, and measuring tape.In separate pockets, I can store my less commonly used tools, such as my row counter, needle gauge, cable needle, blocking mats and pins, yarn bobbins, and my yarn winder and swift.Even packed with all these tools and supplies, it's easy to access them with this yarn bag. I sincerely hope this review helps you make a more informed decision.

I know I could’ve read the measurements, but I found the picture that goes with the product misleading. The product is smaller than I figured. I could only get at the most five larger size skeins in it. I do like that I can zip down the front and see the color of the yarn.. It did give me the idea to buy clear beach bags for my knitting projects. This would be good for a single use project. Of course you couldn’t get your actual Afghan or what have you in it it would just be for supplies, but if you’re going on vacation, this is a nice size to carry what you need for a single project. It has lots of places to put needles and accessories; has two side pockets. It has a shoulder strap, I dinged it because it was misleading to me as to the size.

This bag has a canvas texture feel, though I'm pretty sure it's a synthetic material of some sort. It's a good size to carry or store small to medium crochet or knitting projects. It has a zippered compartment in each end, one of which has individual slots for crochet hooks. There's also a zippered drop open compartment on the front that has slots for larger crochet hooks or knitting needles. The back has yet another zippered pocket for other supplies. The main center section can hold a few skeins of yard plus the work in progress. It has a lightweight shoulder strap for easy carrying.I typically have several projects going at once, easier ones to more complex, so I always have something to work on no matter what complexity mood I'm in. I love using bags like this as separate project organizers, so I can have everything I need to work on a particular project. This one will be housing some cute crochet animals for it's first assignment.
