I like the size. Perfect for travel. It’s like a wallet in your hand. The texture of the paper is like the textured side of watercolor paper so if you use it to sketch it won’t be perfectly smooth. I am pleased with purchase. I bought 2.

I like the size of the sketchbook for on the go paintings.I carry it with my for painting outdoors and visual journaling. It's travel friendlyPaper has texture which I enjoy.The paper absorbs water well and wet on wet techniques work amazingThe binding is sturdy and stitching is good quality.Colors show up vibrant on the paper.I love how granulating colors look because of the texture of paper.Paper has minimal bucklingThe elastic hold pages in place while painting and also help keep the sketchbook together when closed.Few things that could be improved areI prefer the elastic band to be attached to the sketchbook, as it reduces the chances of losing or misplacing it. The hardcover has nice paper glued on top with unfinished edges, but it tends to separate from the cover over time. I prefer traditional hardcovers instead.

This is perfect for doing smaller water colour paintings, love the quality and the size overall.The pages are thick and durable, perfect for water colouring and I’m so happy with it overall. A good size for taking with me or for just relaxing at home, the size is nice for me as well as I prefer smaller paintings to not get as overwhelmed.

This Lightwish Watercolour Journal is quite nice. I got the 5.12x7.48 size and feel it’s a bit on the small side, the next size down would feel worse, but that’s just my preference.The cover is very nice, sturdy, and has a gold glaze to it. The pages are very nice quality and lay flat. The binding seems strong. The elastic is separate and a good length.Every time I counted the sheets, I came to 22 pages I could turn (each of which has two 5.12x7.48 sides to paint on), plus the sheet that has a face glued to the insides of the front and back covers.I definitely can recommend it. It’s on the small side but it’s good quality

I am no artist, but have learned great paper makes a difference. I am really enjoying this notebook/journal. Lays flat for 2 page painting and can hold water well for wet in wet painting. Absolutely love it. Great value for the money.

I am blown away with the way this paper looks, feels, and performs! The sketchbook is durable, with six registers and lays flat when opened. The paper is thick, with different textures on the front vs back, and rounded corners. It takes watercolor beautifully, and is affordable! I have purchased A LOT of watercolor sketchbooks and paper in general, and this is one of the best ones yet, certainly for the price!!! Don’t hesitate, get this one!

I wanted something that was good enough to use as a daily watercolour practice and this has filled that need. The back of each page isn’t as good for watercolour as the front, but I just choose to use the backside for less wet-on-wet techniques. I will definitely buy this again.

I'm happy with the journal it's 100% cotton cold press and is less expensive then another two brands that I like. I think they are producing better quality journals that are cotton now. I would like to get one that's a bit bigger to have on hand. However this journals cover is different then most. This one is handmade so it's stiched and it's cover is a bit more artistic. Now I love the cover and binding but I'm not sure if it will hold up, time will tell. I have painted in it and it's paper quality is good cold press watercolor paper. The thing that's different is the cover. It is glued on to the first page and last page with white fabric over the book binding it is a nice look. You loose the cover pages that are in the front and back this way. And there is no envelope in the back. The elastic band is not attached. But it does have one. There is no ribbon marker but I don't really use any of that anyways? So for me it's a good price for a handmade vibe 100 %cotton journal. I'm going to buy more before they run out of it. If the cover comes apart I'll make it a new one. As it's pages are stiched I think they will stay together just fine. As an artist I see new possibilities with this journals cover that inspire me to make it as interesting on the outside as well as the inside. I'll update if anything changes but I'm quite happy with it for now...
