Using two of of these neat plastic screw fasteners, I was able to hang a fairly heavy wall shelf in the bathroom. They were easy to install.

I was hesitant in buying these looking at the reviews because people said the anchor would snap when you tried install it. After getting these and using them, I can only think the people who are trying to install them are putting way too much pressure and are more than likely not mechanically inclined at all. These were great and did exactly what they were designed to do.

I agree with the review that says these snap off easily. Although pre-drilling is not supposed to be required, tapping them into drywall and then attempting to screw them in will result in the end snapping off. Predrilled with a hole about the same size as the spade on the end, gently tapping in until the threads bite into the drywall, and then hand screwing them in resulted in a good anchor.

I had a huge acrylic picture come crashing down one night, so I got these to see if they did a better job - and they did. They screwed into the drywall easily on low power, then I drilled in the metal screws. I actually used two to be on the safe side as these are rated for 75lbs each, and I didn't want to take any chances since I don't know how heavy my acrylic artwork is. I only know it was heavy enough to take a gouge out of my wood floor. After hanging, everything feels solid with no "give" from the wall. I think these are the only way to go when you don't have studs available. Great product.

These are my preferred wall anchors. They’re easy to use and quick and hold much better than the very basic wall anchors included with most products that need wall anchors. I like to keep this type in stock at my house. 😀
