Whether using as a cable for locking or needed as a tag out, it works well. Supply you own lock though as this is just the cable and holder.

The tieout is great. The cables are strong and covered in a clear vinyl to protect my equipment from scratches. Only possible improvement: change the tip from brass to stainless steel and include a metal housing instead of plastic. Otherwise it works as intended.
