Installed this myself on my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sport 2door soft top in my garage.Installation was straightforward and fairly easy.That being said, back in the early 90’s I worked in a collision shop, so I have a little automotive experience.Removing the stock cat back was fairly easy for me because I live in Florida (no rust issues) the Jeep is not my daily driver, only 1700 miles on her. Wiggling the stock cat back off was the hardest part of the installation. To make installation easier I removed the driver side muffler hanger completely, left the passenger side in place. Also I own a hanger removal tool making it very easy to squeeze the muffler hanger off the bracket. After you get the stock cat back off installation of the Magnaflow cat back is a breeze. Zero issues with connecting the Magnaflow cat back pipe to the stock pipe to the cat, it slid right on.Looks GREAT and the sound is just what I was looking for, not very loud, just loud enough that you know it’s not a stock exhaust.After my first test drive I immediately noticed a nice improvement in torque.Very happy with this system. Wife bought it for me for Christmas. I’m going to keep both, the Magnaflow and her, lol.

While product is Awesome, the shipppng is Atrocious with the way that they sent it FedEx yeah to stay home all day to receive it which is stupid. It should’ve been sent to the FedEx store like I had to correct it and the only way I got to do that is FedEx new me otherwise it would have to go back to the factory and they would have to re-correct the message for sending that’s why I gave it a very poor review. This manufacture never listen. Also only used on Peice of tap to close box, box was open , and FedEx had hand me the parts loose from box broke open from only one Peice of tap. Tap wasn’t even fiber shipping strength tap, and muffler is about 40 pounds to 30 pounds.

Easy install, about an hour, no jack needed, perfect fit. Awesome quality, fit, and finish along with the great sound I have come to expect from Magnaflow. This exhaust has made the Rubicon finally look and sound like a $60k Jeep.

I have been browsing for an axle back setup for a while but the price was, in most cases, over $500 until I stumbled upon this on Amazon for $404 with free shipping so I jumped on it. I suspected a factory second or blem but nope it was the real with MF documentation and all. So like most of you considering this piece you will watch the Youtube video for install tips, now here is mine. I installed this laying on the floor without a Jack and it took about 1 hour. Spray the two support bushings with wd40 and remove both support brackets as this will make removal much easier. Clean the old pipe with scotch brite or emery cloth and spray it with a little WD40 Prior to install. One bolt on each bracket is on top perpendicular to to the bottom bolt but very accessible even though you can't see it. Also remove bushing from old muffler and install on new MF before install.Probably to much info but ........ the install was easy and it looks and sounds Great.

I purchased this Magnaflow axle back exhaust for my 2018 Wrangler JL. The removal of my stock system was very straight forward, about 15 minutes. When I tried to mount the new Magnaflow unit, the pipe that was supposed to slide over my stock pipe was too small. I could not get it to go on more than 1/4" or so. I wrestled with it for half an hour just to make sure. I was very upset because the Youtube videos and install instructions say nothing about this fit issue. I ended up driving to my nearest Orielly Auto parts store to rent an exhaust expander tool. When I got back to my garage I had to try several times with the expander tool to get the Magnaflow unit to slide over my OEM pipe. Fortunately I had an air power impact wrench as trying to use the expander tool with hand tools would be near impossible. After the 3rd try, the Magnaflo finally fit over the OEM pipe and everything else fit perfectly. I ended up removing the passenger side rubber mount bracket to make the install easier. If the Magnaflow would have slipped over the stock tail pipe, the install would have been 20 minutes. After this debacle the unit really does look nice and gives the Jeep a nice exhaust tone with little to no drone in the cab. Magnaflow needs to recall this model and correct it as someone with basic tools will really struggle with getting that pipe expanded. I removed 2 stars because of the installation issues.

Exhaust tips are not the same length, the right tip is shorter. Not happy with this exhaust. I had it professionally installed because it doesn't fit smoothly like the video on magnaflo indicates.
