16 screws, 4 boards with differing surfaces, 2 square tubes -and no assembly instructions. It it done working from the (Amazon site) picture. Once assembled the product itself worked fine.

Easy to assemble, decent finish for the price. I loaded the centers with sand to absorb resonances. Only suggestion would be to add a larger top plate with package to give more flexibility for speaker footprint sizes.

The following is taken directly from the seller’s product description:“Easy to Install: The speaker stand INSTALL WITHOUT TOOLS, simply attach the top plate to the speaker using the included screws, attach the non-slip pads, and place the speaker stand where you want it.”Q: Did they expect the consumer would use their fingers, or their teeth perhaps to attach the screws?There are no instructions included either, and no way to contact the seller.

Cheap material. The top is just a piece of black paper!!! Arrived with no instructions. So called wood grain is painted particle board. Do not buy this junk! My husband finally was able to assemble it and it is too much trouble to disassemble and ship back.
