I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this set of speaker stands. It is quickly apparent from the weight of the box that the construction was substantial. I was also impressed with the packaging of the product. Everything was separated to prevent damage from shipping. The only issue I saw was rubbing damage on the logo, but I'll probably paint over these logos rather than having mystery trademarks displayed. The Futrue Wolker "Universal Speaker Stand Pair for Surround Sound" comes disassembled with both carpet spikes and standard feet. The finish is Good and the brackets and tubes are substantial. They are adjustable between 3'-5' or thereabouts. I would have preferred black friction nuts, but I suppose a can of spray paint will take care of that.

Looks great, high speaker stand, nice clamping mechanism to hold the sides of the speaker in place, very nice internal cable routing, each stand can hold my 25lbs speaker. However, (1) I wish it has a more sturdy speaker titling mechanism or no tilting mechanism in favor of more stability. That current tilting mechanism makes the speaker stand wobbly and unstable. A little bump would topple the speaker over or make the speaker looks crooked.(2) I wish the pole is held onto the base of the stand with a bigger diameter. Currently, it's held down by a circle just a bit bigger than the diameter of the pole (see pic). It doesn't seem durable that the entire 50+ inches pole with 25+ lbs speaker on top is held up by three screws in a small circle at the bottom of the pole.

See the images as the narrative unfolds. The "spacer" needed in step 5 is non-existent and isn't even shown on the parts pic on the instruction page. Without this it is impossible to finish assembly. I elected not to try to fabricate something workable due to my expensive speakers/voiding any warranty/lethal tumble onto the cat. The base-cord management: in order to achieve suitable and aesthetically desired cable management (available through the upright shaft parts) you MUST USE the optional feet (for hard floor) provided. But the threading on the feet is too long, leaving an unsightly gap instead of flush mount. You can see the thread length comparison in the pic vs. the "spikes" for carpet. BTW, would you really want to put those into your Berber? Yikes! Yes, this could have been modified too, but I didn't purchase this to experiment with. See pic. Speaker plate: even though the Adams are robust in size the plate would have accommodated them adequately due to the thoughtfully designed lateral adjusting plates and the choice of either of two mounting centers. Now, these Adams weigh probably 22 pounds each, and as you can see in the pic, though touted to support "up to 80 pounds"...uhhhh...no. And then we have a coating flaw on the base-see the pic. So, on its way back, kids. Some re-thinks and packing QA might just do the trick for the next customer.

I will review with a pros and cons list, since my rating is based on a few items that were outside of what I ordered these for:PROS:- The metals used in this are pretty high quality. The silver extension tightener is not as sturdy as the rest, but it seems to work well.- The ability to run the cables up the stands is a very nice feature. Especially with the little rubber cap to keep them from sliding around.- The monitors I have are pretty small, but the extension attachment for wider or taller monitors is pretty helpful.- The different options for the "feet" on this are nice, especially for those that want to take them to gigs and are playing on solid ground or grass fields. The ability to set the poles and the platforms at the center or edge of each is really nice. That gives a lot of freedom when trying to find a good fit for your space.- The method for attaching the monitor platform is both a pro and a con. On the pro side, it allows you to set them level when the stand itself might be a little off kilter based on what it is sitting on- These are pretty portable, being able to separate the stand into two parts and the two platforms. I would not unscrew the bottom platform, but for those that need to, it is an option.- Overall, the stand feels like high-quality in terms of materials. The plastics feel plastic, but they do not feel cheap- It fits well in the space I have, mostly because of the adjustments to the base and the platform. I have a sit/stand desk, so it works well with that.CONS:- While I like being able to level the monitor platform on uneven ground, it is kind of a pain to get it set, with the rounded edge where you screw into.- The nuts that cover the feet on the stand are not deep enough to go all the way to the platform- The little rubber cable clips keep you from being able to retract the stand all the way to the bottom.- It took a bit of time to get set up and the instructions were not always helpful. I had to redo a few things, but overall, once it was done it was fine.I got these for my office to be able to save space on my sit/stand desk topper, and they work great for that. The cable management is great, but I do need to get longer speaker wire to allow for my monitors to use it, which was unexpected a bit. Other than that, it is exactly what I wanted.
