I like using these on older 3D printers that are not networked and you have to carry the SD card with the print file between you computer and the device. The micro SDs are so easy to lose and so hard to find. A lot of the micro SD slots are spring loaded and will launch the card if you don't control the ejection. This allows me to use the larger SD format, even if its just a micro SD in an SD adapter to carry the data between devices. No issues using this one. Conveniently comes with double sided tape and a screw mount to attach it.
