This is exactly what we wanted. We have 4 acres and we can talk to each other when one of us is at one of the property from the other. He walked up to 2 miles away up our country road, no hill obstructions and came in clear. To differentiate between each walkie and in the case of dropping one to help find it easier in the grass we wrapped each antenna with a colored tape. Brand recommended would def buy again.

No funcionan en lo absoluto, tienen que estar en la base 24/7 y aun asi no sirven, cambie pilas, cargador, regrese un par y el mismo problema

Jeep girl here. Everyone I know loves Midland, got these to use with everyone on the trails and they have not disappointed yet. Great battery life, no static, very clear, and long range

They are great. with having the USB I can charge them in my work truck and don't have to take them into the house to charge. I have been known to forget my radios at home. Great range and clarity even in the mountains

Great little radios, range listed is very optimistic. I’d say closer to a couple miles in optimal conditions. In the hilly area I live in, it’s less than a half mile. Other than that, good for carrying around the yard or when camping.

Yo los regalé en un cumpleaños de dos niños de 10 años, les gustan y hasta el momento siguen sirviendo. Una vez se les callo en un charco de agua, se mojaron pero solo los pusimos a secar y siguieron funcionando. La cobertura es de acuerdo a las características que mencionan, en bosque son útiles.

I really like the radios, but I've had trouble with the batteries (they seem to overheat when charging and then vent goo all over the battery and terminals). What makes it worse is that when I contact the manufacture, they just ignore me. As a interim fix, I've good to using my own batteries. On the plus side, I get much longer battery life. On the negative side, this mean I have to open the radio and remove the batteries every time I charge them.Maybe Midland will respond to my service requests some day (the battery failure happened within the first few weeks)
