7/16/15 - Gauge appears to be really cheap, installed in the fuel line to the carb on my hot rod. I am using a Walbro electronically operated reciprocating fuel pump that only pumps when the pressure drops and gives a pulsing discharge. This fuel gauge is constantly bouncing between 6 to 8 psi. Don't think it will last under these operating conditions. Will up date this latter.2/3/17 update: Still working fine even with the pulsating fuel pressure. Appears to be better built than I thought.

Not sure how precise it is but using it as a tuning aid for the Baja bug worked out extremely well

Well, my thought was nice in the beginning. But after trying to squeeze it onto my fuel line in the 82 El camino, I decided I really didn't want to introduce TWO POSSIBLE FAILURE points of gasoline into my engine compartment. Stuff happens and I'd rather not take the chance at the moment I went with a braided stainless steel line for the time being. I think I can get some screw on connections and another type gauge to accomplish my purpose.

The gauge worked out well, perfect for my application. Fuel pressure I'm learning, is very critical to acheive the right performance out of a carb. Added a regulator to the set-up, now have 5.5 psi as recommended.

I am extremely disappointed by this Mr. Gasket product (more so, considering they're sister companies with Mallory)!The gauge itself feels CHEAP. As in, $5 made in China cheap.I HIGHLY discourage anyone on from getting it. Save your cash, get yourself something nicer.

I got a weber for my Mazda B2200 and put this in to throttle down the electric fuel pump. The first one I got would not let "any" gas past regardless of the setting. I send it back, got another one (and this time a gauge) and it was off in its pressure setting about +3 PSI. So...I got one at a local store which was cheaper than shipping this one back, it works good (withing .5 PSI) and sofar after a year I have not had any issues.Guess 3 times the charm. My 2 cents, buy this locally, it may cost a few more bucks, but if you have to return it, its alot easier. And you car is not down while waiting for the new one.
