I purchased this distributor in November of 2023 for a project car. Here it is mid June, '24 and I'm nearing completion of the project. The distributor worked great at first but with less than 6 miles on the car and no more than 3 hours run time total. Cylinder terminals 1 and 5 have developed a miss NOT related to plugs, plug wires or timing, and the vacuum advance mechanism is poorly made and is sticking. The seller claims to have a one year warranty but there's no way to contact the seller and the Amazon return window closes after x number of days. Very disappointing.

Perfect fitment for a 289CI Mustang. Even if distributor is larger than the OEM one, there is enough room around to insert it in the block without being embarrassed by the water outlet elbow or water temp unit. Some modifications to the OEM air filter were necessary. The size of the distributor required its positioning to be carried out with respect to the firing order sequence
