Easy installation
1． Nesting the black leather cushion inside the reducing joint of the wind turbine then putting the tower inside reducing joint. Connecting the cover of reducing joint by screws and fastening. Tightening the screws by hex key.
2． The three wires of the wind turbine are connected to the transmission cable, each pair of wires is not less than 30 mm, and the tape at the connection end is at 100 mm.
3． Connect the wind turbine's cable to the controller and the battery must be connected to the controller before wiring.

Installation instruction：

not set up yet... but looks like it is robust.Yes,as others have noted... the size of the collar is a little 1/4" off from some existing tower posts I currently posses.some modification may be needed.Waiting for the tower and ability to get the ground dug out.

Setup was really easy, took me about 10 minutes to assemble and a little extra time to wire it up. I’b testing, it was generating power until an anchor came loose and it faceplanted, crushing the nose cone. Support was easy and they are sending me a replacement. I’ll update this when I start running it again.

This is our second Wind Turbine Generator. We tossed the first one as it never turned. We should have heeded the advice of the reviews.This one however has worked much. better. It's not going to power much of anything but it's great to watch when it gets enough wind to spin it.We hooked it up to a set of LED lights and when it spins, the lights illuminate.It should be noted that these units rarely turn. You need very, very strong winds.Good enough.

If you use the right wire size to install, it works like it is supposed too. D.Z.'s review with the wire size is not accurate. They don't know anything about 12 Volt electricity. The wind turbine is 30 Amp's and controller requires 10 Gauge wire. 12 Volt electricity degrades fast with distance. The small gauge wire coming out of the wind turbine and controller is the right size, For Very Short Distances, like 1 foot. 10 Gauge wire is the smallest gauge to be used for a 30 Amp Devices. You might think connecting 16 Gauge wire with 10 gauge wire is wrong, but it is not. I had to use 50 feet of wire from the Turbine to the Controller. At 50 feet, I had to bump up my wire size to 8 Gauge. If you are not sure about wire size, do some homework to make sure. Once again, this is for 12 Volt systems. AC electricity, with the help of transformers, can go great distances from power stations to power stations. 12 Volt power degrades quickly and it would be lucky if it made it out of city limits before it degrades to nothing. Just look at the size of the battery cables in your car. Hopefully, no one will do what D.Z. did. We are having a very windy day as I write this and the turbine is working perfectly.

Product is sturdy, considering that much of it is plastic. You might want assistance from an electrician to install, since all wires are red and no ground wire is indicated. Not grounding the product well, would not be wise. One should also study up on the price of two inch metal pipe of any length since it is very high. Two inch pcv pipe might suffice if you place support cables or band the pipe to a structure. I have not actually installed the product yet, so I cannot comment on product reliability, only on installation issues related to it.

I installed this product in Jan 2022. It's nice and assembled well, and I was excited to see it spinning. It looks nice. But as far as actually generating power, it's not going to be much use. I am not saying it doesn't work at all, but when I finally made some current measurements on the thing, it did "some" power generation when it was spinning in a super strong wind burst, but other than that, not much of anything. Maybe if this thing is in a hurricane all the time, it may get you power. But just on a general farm field, it did not get me much, if anything.I hooked up 2 100W solar panels to the controller, and then that DID generate power. So the solar panels worked.I did contact customer service, and they had me do some troubleshooting. But then they wanted me to take the unit down and put a drill on it and make voltage measurements. That is not unreasonable thing to do, but I just got too busy to do it. Since the solar was getting me by, I just went with it.Around July 2022, I noticed the Solar stopped working. I did some troubleshooting and the controller was dead. I just put in a new solar controller for now and got my solar pump back up and running. I contracted customer service about the warranty on this wind turbine controller, but I got no response.So, I give it 2 stars for looking nice, and working with the solar panels. However, it main purpose is to generate wind power; which it does not actually seem to do very well at all.

This wind turbine is great. We were able to tie our solar panels into this and only have 1 controller with the system. We run this and 4 solar panels and this turbine runs perfectly, with no issues.

I am a proud new owner of this wind generator. Yay! I was ok with having to get my own mounting pole, except the instructions say to get a 2" diameter one. I am here to say "that is wrong"! A 2" pole will not fit in the clamp. I had to go back to the store for a 2" to 1.5" coupler/step-down and a 12" long piece of 1.5" diameter pipe to add to the top of the pole. The generator mounted perfectly on the 1.5" pipe end.In hindsight, I am glad the bottom 10 feet of the pole are 2" diameter (for more strength), but the turbine won't mount to it as is. I took one star off because of the misinformation that caused issues during install.

it is a prity good little turbine so far at 20 kmh steady you get about 40 wats a hr and at 30 kmh to get 100 watts a hr so you need some prity hi constant winds to get the 400 wats I will be running 2 of them to charge my 4 x 6 volt battery's with a total of 5000 wats

I hooked this up exactly as specified in the instructions. It is about 15' away from the battery I used the same gauge wire as the charge controller wire it comes with to connect it to the charge controller wires. The light on the charge controller is on when the blade is turning. I live in an area where it is quite windy at least 50% of the time. On other words, 12 hours a day the blades are turning, often rapidly, and the green light on the charge controller is indicating that it should be charging. However using a voltmeter, I have determined that it actually doesn't charge the battery at all. It appears like it is working, but it actually doesn't do anything. By the time I figured this out, it was past the Amazon return window, so I'm out $300. Don't make the same mistake I did, instead get the Tycon Systems TPW-400DT-12-24, which has a built in controller and looks to be a MUCH better unit. The instruction manual is also written by native English speakers and it is an American company. It only costs $425, a little bit extra, but it might actually work.
