Ordered new but was obviously used. Will boil and use instead of having the hassle to return but definitely disappointed. :(

Not the easiest to open with wet hands. Also a chore to fill with water and not lose the “bait”. But once you figure that all out it works great. Would place one at night and remove it either in the morning or midday.

My aquarium is currently overrun by planaria and leeches - these traps are awesome in slowing down their numbers. I use raw fish to bait them with (put the bait in the middle of the circle) and I’ve been catching them by the jar full! I also used frozen brine shrimp! Once in, they can’t escape! I absolutely love them! They are doing a fantastic job in helping me save my shrimp in a non-toxic and non chemical way!

Add a small piece of food when you submerge and wait for the nuisance pests to flock to it. Very easy.
