Lid closes good, looks pretty durable. I'm trying to rig it up on my riding mower, I like that the lid opens toward the mount instead of facing away.

Nice size cooler not too big not too small excellent size for holding drinks. Seems to be made well enough not heavy, but not too light at the same time. I doubt you get three days out of the ice is closing, the way it claims, but I definitely would think it would last the day.
