It works but now I'm wondering if there is really as practical use for it these days. If you're in the market for something like this then it's a good device to have.

I was able to get a couple of the examples to print, the barcode, QR code, or text. None of the graphics work, I just get 4-5 labels worth of garbled text, some of which has the label dimensions and other settings. I tried on both Android and IOS, The Android connected yesterday, and now does not. The test page prints, I can print text and some barcodes or QR codes. The software needs work for this to be usable. I tried also to connect to a Windows computer like it implies I can, but I think it only shows up as a scanner/imaging device. I'm hoping to be able to maybe use the app from some other printer. I have almost exhausted the introductory roll of thermal paper just trying to print a logo. I suppose if I find an app that talks to this thing correctly, or if the seller pushes and update to theirs I'll update, but as it is it's not good for much. The app doesn't have any scanning implemented, how I'm supposed to use that I have no idea. I am hoping for the seller to push out an updated app, since the shortcomings seem to all be software related.UPDATE:I remembered later it came with a CD, and also played around some more with the APP. I was still only able to get some limited functionality out of the app, I can only get a new receipt to print and was able to get some logos to print, still no luck with any of the examples. I had to find my one and only working CDROM drvie and made an ISO immediately. The windows driver was much better and a pleasant surprise, I can print to it right out of paintbrush. Working goo on a Windows computer makes the paper I got for it useful, but I was really looking for the intended function as a phone cradle/printer. I still don't know how to access the scanner.
