Nice thick paper that absorbs without overly bleeding color. Easy to use the thinner pad when you're traveling

This paper takes watercolors well, and in my painting I haven't had a problem with swelling or distorting. It's easy to cut down to whatever size you want, so I'm using it in smaller pieces, and it works great!

Watercolor paper works really well. I made a little notebook out of some of the paper and folded them in half. The tooth of the paper is nice to hold watercolors. It seems to be pretty durable although I did notice some extra creasing when I made the notebook, as that has happened with other watercolor paper o have used in the past. But you're most likely not going to make a notebook like I did.

This is a great quality watercolor paper, it’s heavier than others I have bought. It absorbs colors thoroughly without spreading too far. The size is as what was listed in the ad, 9x12.I wish it would have been a brighter white, it’s a bit more yellow. All in all this is a great find for a two pack for an outstanding price. Highly recommend.

I must admit I’m very new to water coloring, so I don’t have a lot to compare this paper against (besides the cheap craft store kind). Right away I noticed it was a nice heavier weight. One side is textured and the other is smooth. I did have a little difficulty tearing it off the pad, so I ended up with a jagged edge. I will have to be more careful with future pages. There are two 20-page pads, so I feel like it’s a good amount for the price. Overall, I’m very happy with the product as I dive into this new hobby! (These photos are some small squares I cut to test out the paper quality with my paints.)

I think this paper is fine for practicing but it's not archival or professional quality. The paper does pill if you work it too much. I like it though for practice like I said. I am a beginner watercolorist so I don't need super expensive paper to practice on

Excellent deal for student quality watercolor paper. Not a heavy enough weight for a lot of manipulation, the surface will pill when overly wet for too long or subject to any but the absolute gentlest scrubbing (instead of picking up a color with water it would be better to use a frisket or mask ahead of painting or put white ink or gouache over for highlights) That being said this is great for practicing new techniques or doing a quick paintings for a journal or class.

I've only recently taken up watercolor, and I'm not much good yet, but this paper seems nice. It has a nice weight to it, and the color isn't bright white, which I like. This is a generous-sized pad of heavy paper, and it holds up well to being sprayed with water. Like most watercolor paper, this has a smooth side, and a bit rougher side.Other watercolor pads I've tried have tended to not tear out of the pad easily and would occasionally leave rough edges, this pad doesn't have that problem. The pages tear out easily & cleanly. It's a nice touch.I've been playing around a lot with my watercolors on this paper, and it's definitely worth trying out.
