bought this for an ipad but while it worked, it was noisy and had a high pitched whine that was really annoying. Sadly I missed the return window.

Fonctionne super bien et charge en même temps. Le seul problème est qu’il y a un son bip à toute les 3 secondes. C’est pas très bruyant mais assez pour l’entendre. Vous pourrez pas laisser ce fil branché dans une chambre à coucher.

The functionality promised for this device is good and I appreciate having it on the desk for occasional use charging some good, but older Apple devices. It does seem to put out the promised 2A, but gets pretty hot doing so. The other day it shut down after a while trying to recharge an iPad that was mostly discharged. The ethernet aspect continued to function. Perhaps they will come out with a second generation having a little more efficient circuit design.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this provides both PoE power and ethernet connectivity through the lightning connector. Works great with my old iPad!

So I do tech support for a company and we have about 50 iPads that can be loaned out for onsite use at programs. When I get them back it's easier to just wipe them if they were used (they're on MDM and once wiped return to a starting state with apps and settings). it's much faster to have them connected to our network via Ethernet than Wifi, so I bought a few non-powered Lightning to Ethernet adapters and this one powered adapter to try out.The first time I used it, it was great. Many of the iPads come back with almost no battery so I have to charge them a bit before I can wipe them, so being able to do both would be great. And it was the first time I used this. Unfortunately I bumped the Lightning end on a table while still plugged into the iPad, and that was enough to damage the connector where the contacts come out. I've used Lightning cables as long as they've existed and can be pretty rough with them, and I've never had this happen. So the concept is great, but it's extremely delicate. And there's nothing you can do to prevent this. It's literally the contacts going into the plastic that's weak, and there's no way to strengthen that. The Giochem non powered adapters we bought have worked great and appear to have solid aluminum ends instead of plastic, and that's probably the problem here.

Absolutely amazing. Months later I am still using it as a daily driver and it has not failed once. I highly recommend this adapter. It is seriously amazing. Lan connection and power delivery is perfect.

Using for ipad power and network over Ethernet POE. This solution works great! I have been using the splitter solution with a POE splitter and a lightning splitter with 2 connections in-between. this one replaced 2 items and the bulk of the 2 connections, and less money! I will be purchasing more and watch for sales! I'll keep the other items as backups for now!
