Took out the original Ranchos from my 2021 LT TrailBoss and put these 9000’s instead. The truck has about 35,000 miles, the old Ranchos was still good, I just wanted stiffer adjustable shocks in the rear and stiffer it is lol. Anywhere from 7 to 9 a lot stiffer than the original ones. Honestly, the originals I don’t think they are any different than OEM general motor shocks, maybe a little better.I really do not want to throw general motor under the bus🤫. If you are do it yourself weekend warrior guy it’s probably one of the simplest jobs you are going to do. These 9000’s are almost 2inches longer so you may gain about 1/2 inch lift like I did.Torque it back to 80-90 lb.

Lots of questions here, but everything worked out perfectly. We had to replace the bolts on both the shocks. I knew they would be expensive at the dealer, but only the dealer has the correct bots and nuts. $14 apiece and the nuts were $10 apiece. I had expected $20 apiece. That said, these are different buts and bolts. They are unusually heavy and have a coating on them.

Everyday driving (on level 1, softest setting) is too stiff without a heavy load. They do work well with my 4 Season Arctic Fox Cab over camper with slide-out.....and they work well in the wind with that load. But everyday driving without a load is miserable.

Although Rancho has been an outstanding shock. Not anything like what I expected......totaly discouraged.Bought fo rmy 2016 Ram 3500 (1 ton single tire) 4x4.Purchased for the rear of my truck. I Pull a 31ft 5Th with a hitch weight around 1500lbs +or -. I thought the rancho would be a better shock rather than the stock ones. Much to my surprise, hooked the trailer up, set the shock dial to full (or the #9 position) truck went down 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inches......quite a bit compared to my factory shock. The Rancho did absolutely no good. Certainly not for towing large loads.I got more sag and bouncing with the rancho than I did with my factory ones. So needless to say, these are going back and I will stick with the factory one.

Have you complained about how you need a spinal adjustment every time you hit a tiny bump in your heavy duty ram pickup? Here’s the solution my dudes. These ranchos on the softest setting just soak up ALL the imperfections in the road and I’d suggest that my truck rides BETTER than when it was new. 10/10 would recommend.

I already submitted a review on the quick struts where i mentioned these shocks, so i will do another brief review on these specifically. These shocks performed extrememly well with my quad and bumper hitch trailer hooked up to my truck. The adjustability is noticeable and is easy to do.I also purchased hd coils for the rear of my 2012 ram instead of air bags, and these shocks perform excellent with the coils.Ride quality is a big improvement over stock both unloaded and when loaded.I highly recommend these, especially for those who own Rams with the soft rear coil suspension.

Works great for both towing and not. Should have bought them years ago. When towing I put the settings on 8 when I have no load running on the highways I set them for 3 and it's been a great ride!

As soon as the shocks are installed, I will return with a full review on functionality. As for the shocks, they both arrived in excellent condition. I've heard good things about this brand so based on reviews from fellow customers I've decided to give it a try. I will return with an update and pictures as soon as the shocks are installed but please bare with me.

I've put these on 2 trucks now, and still love them. They ride great on and off road. The adjustable is nice, but I rarely use it. I keep mine on the low setting for a soft ride. When hauling a lot, I set the back ones on the highest setting.

Had some issues when the order came - one shock of (4) were missing??? Called Amazon and they were quick to react.Installation was standard and now I am playing with the settings to get to my satisfaction. First thing I noticed was that they weren't near as as harsh as the factory shocks and more supple over stutter bumps. Nice!Jeff

I've had these shocks on several trucks now. I do not like the OEM shocks Dodge puts on their HD trucks. I have a 4x4 dually, and the ride with the OEM shocks is terrible. The Cummins engine is HEAVY, and I like these adjustable Ranchos because I can put the front ones on setting 6 or 7 and leave it. And the rears I usually leave on 1 or 2 unless I'm hauling or towing. Night and day difference over the OEM.There are other shocks that might be better than the Rancho adjustables, but I really like the price and verstility of these.
