The front of my 4Runner was sagging and I was looking for a leveling solution. After looking at spacers and other suspension lifts I settled for the Rancho Quicklift. Both front struts arrived in good condition but the quality of the packaging was not so good. I’m thankful they made it in one piece. Please note the left and right is not clearly identified on the struts. I would recommend marking them as soon as you take them off the boxes. I had the loaded struts installed professionally and the alignment done. The ride quality is far superior to my 80k miles original suspension. My only problem is I purchased those as a leveling solution and ended up lifting the front end of my truck by 1 inch more than the rear. I don’t think the rear was sagging very much. The truck only has 80k miles and never towed anything. Now I have to lift the back to level the truck. This is not what I wanted. I wish rancho mentioned that in their product description before I made the purchase. Another reviewer had mentioned this but I ignored the review. I should have listened.

Quality appears to be very good, my only dilemma is how do you tell the difference between a Lt side, RS999913 and a Rt side, RS999914? They both arrived quick enough but between work and the weather I had to wait a short while to do the swap out on my 07 FJ TRD Ed., but after I pulled my original struts and was ready to put in the new ones I couldn't tell between the two new struts, they're not labeled 13 or 14 from what I can see and they both end the coil wrap at the bottom on the left sides... There are visible differences on the old struts between the lt and rt sides, the left OEM strut end of coil at the bottom ends on the right side and the rt side OEM strut end of coil at the bottom ends on the left side... the new struts look exactly alike, they both end on the left side with the knobs facing you... (I suspect I received 2 of the same, I emailed Rancho but especially on Labor Day weekend there's no one to be reached) Can someone tell me the differences, there must be something for the Lt and Rt sides to have unique part numbers? End of day, now I'm forced to put all the OEM parts back in, not a happy camper... For now, I've got to lower the rating for inadequate labeling of individual units, I'll change it if needed when I'm aware of unknown markings... UPDATE... After getting a call back from Rancho I was told that there should have been small red tags on each shock with either a L or R to indicate the obvious, well after double and triple checking there was no red tags then reaching tech support again they did inform me that the yellow tags on the coil springs with 152T indicated that it was a left or drivers side tempered spring and 153T was a Rt or passenger side tempered spring, Finally... After having them installed for 3 weeks now, they rock! They surpassed my original TRD shocks... I played around a little with the setting knob and settled on 5, not too firm but just firm enough... Thanks Rancho!

Smooth transition from factory Toyota equipment. Leveled the FJ Cruiser and the ride is unchanged on the 1/2 setting. No need to play with adjustments since factory setting suited my needs. Better than installing a cheesy lift spacer to factory springs. Complete kit ready to install!

So far so good. (5k miles)Install was done professionally so it was easy for me.Definitely recommend an alignment once these are installed.Installed in to a 2003 4-Runner Sport V8 and now that the springssettled, the truck is within a 1/2 inch of level with the nosebeing ever so slightly higher. I imagine over the next month orso the vehicle will be level.Much better than the nose droop from the factory. And WAY cheaper than replacing with Toyota's factoryhydraulic sports shocks and to be honest, the vehicle feels just aswell planted with these shocks as it did with the factory X-REAS mess.

Installed these items on my 2005 Toyota 4Runner, and so far I like them a lot. They boosted the front end approximately 2" which helps to level the front-end of the vehicle, so there's not so much rake to the vehicle stance. Not to mention giving you a little more ground clearance, which is what I appreciate. The shocks that come with these struts are the RS9000, which is a 9-point adjustable unit. I'm still testing the settings to see what I prefer, but set around "6" provides a very smooth highway ride. It was also recommended to use a spacer from Rancho on the rear springs that provides 1-1/2". From what I've read, they're guessing your rear springs will have a certain amount of sag as well, and this will ensure you don't end up with a higher front end condition. Remember the 2" provided by the front struts is 2" above "stock" height. In my situation the rear had not dropped much at all, but the fronts had all but collapsed, so I ended up still having somewhat more rake than I preferred. I then purchased the KT09117 kit from Daystar, which is "supposed" to provide and additional 1" to the front. By all of their ads I read, it should have been 1" but it turned out to be 2". Anyway, in the end it turned out to be fine overall. Note: It's a good idea to get your front-end aligned after this installation. Hope this helps anyone who is considering this upgrade.
