I imagine this thing would be awesome for boats, that is not something that I have tried yet unfortunately. However it has been awesome in my wraith! High torque! Durable and well made! Low noise level. Great value for your money!

I use this in my trx4 truck and it works great super responsive and smooth easy install came with a bunch of accessories. Good value for the price when I received it for brushless.

I needed a servo for a 3d printer I'm building, so I thought I would give this one a try. Excellent choice. This servo is well made out of good quality materials. Fit and finish are good. Easy to control with an Arduino. Works very well. Plenty of power. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

First-off, this is not a 270° servo. Mechanically, it does a little over 180°, and on my radio with the sub-trims and endpoints maxed out, I got more like 110°. Torque is good and speed is decent; though I don’t think it’s responsive enough for a 1/10 buggy or on-road car. Would be fine in a 1/8 buggy or 1/10 truck. I only tested it at 6.0v, as it does not claim to be rated for higher voltages.I opened it up to confirm, and indeed, the gears are all metal, the motor is brushless, and the case is sealed up with o-rings and grease, which will offer good water resistance.Unless you *really* need the 270 degrees of travel for a robotics project, this is a fine steering servo.

The price of these servo motors is way too high! It is not valuable. It has a loud buzz sound and the description for this product is incorrect. I bought the 180 degrees but the max is around 135 degrees.

This thing is crazy fast. Had to turn on some delay on my transmitter so I wasn't clipping every pipe on every turn. Very happy with this thing!

I've had several 25kg and 35kg servos from this brand in the past and have really liked them. This 45kg fits nicely into their budget-minded lineup. I've run it in my Element Ecto, which is around 4.5 pounds with battery. It's got plenty of steering power for a rig of this weight. While the specs aren't given, it's speed seems to be similar to the 35kg model. It is noticeably stronger, which is a plus, but it does seem to cause more brown-outs than the 35kg when paired with my Fusion SE. This can easily be corrected with a BEC, but it's worth noting since most people purchasing budget servos probably won't be springing for a BEC. I did remove one star due to the price/value. At $45, it's starting to approach the price point of budget servos from the "big brands" and the specs don't really measure up for the price difference. It's still a good servo, but another $15 will buy you a better performing servo with better longevity. If it were my money, I'd either buy the 35kg variant or save up for an NSD "budget" servo for ~$65.
