  • Strength - Our product includes both the shock & link mount skids on a single piece, rather than separate skids, plus tying them together improves their strength.
  • Install - Our shock guards skid plates bolt on utilizing factory hardware and will require no drilling or welding. This takes approximately 2.5 hours to install. Install guide can be downloaded below
  • Fitment - Our Shock Guard Plate fits most shocks on the market. However, shocks with piggyback reservoirs that are locked on the bottom will not fit.
  • Compatibility - DV8's Rear Shock Guard Skid Plates are compatible with the 2021-2025 Ford Bronco 6th Gen. NOT compatible with Hoss 3.0 Supension Systems.

The price is great and the quality is better. They cover the shock and the trailing arm. Very happy we got these. The metal is very beefy and overall they are very sturdy. Install for both took 20 minutes with a lift

Product is made of thick metal and has what seems to be a quality powder coating for rust protection. Product fits well and not only provides protection for rear shocks mount but also the rear lower control arm mount as well. Product is reasonably priced when compared to other similar items on the market even though some more expensive options offer less protection.

I purchased these after going off-road a few times and getting close to hitting the shocks. I also when with the front control arms, and rear differential skid plates. They will be put to the test soon. Based off appearances, they’re top notch and pretty easy to install.

After ordering these I saw the install videos. The install requires loosening and re-tightening the rear shock bolt. That is a 30mm bolt that requires 350 ft-lb to retorque back to spec (and the hardware cannot be reused). If you are going to go to that level of pain might as well install a different brand that uses the shock bolt for support.
