I have been a fan of refurbished articles for a long time. The reason is that they are mostly, I suspect, simply returned items that a person changed their minds about, but more importantly, factory authorised refurbs have been checked over by someone equipped with the tools and knowledge to make sure that that particular item is good. Mass produced items are not individually checked, it would not be a profitable way to go.The other thing that drew me to this vacuum was that Roborock has a very good reputation and most of their products are over $1000, this is their entry level unit, yet has the same software phone app to control it. Having tried two other robots, I noticed the difference in the user friendliness and quality here too.With regard to the actual unit, it was as new and came with everything a new one did, in its original box, which was a bit worn, showing it had been used before. A good deal, it has the double rubber brushes versus the single brushes usually found on other brands at this price level.

I havenโt figured out how to program it yet but I just hit the button when I want it to clean And it takes care of my living room and dining room.Itโs a little noisy and very loud when cleaning but itโs pretty good. I have no complaints so far!(Googly eyes donโt come with it, but they really enhance its appearance)
