Delivered a day early. Heavy duty. Nice powder coat.Instructions are not the best but it ain't rocket science. Take off the transfer skid first then set this heavy skid on a floor jack. Center it under motor and trans and jack it up to wear you can start a few bolts into trans crossmember. Go to the motor mounts and loosely mount the drop down brackets to there specific sides. Then mount them to the skid. Snug up all the bolts at the front and pry/move the skid away from the front differential. Take all the bolts out holding it to the crossmember. Slap your transfer case skid onto the new skid. Don't forget the longer bolt and nut plate that's used on the passenger side of the crossmember. Tighten up all bolts. Check for clearance.

The box was in sad shape when the skid arrived . But the parts were all there and no damage. Its nice to be able to bolt a part on an everything fits. I like the way they used the frame motor mounts for the front. Very strong an covers the trany an engine pan well on my Jeep JK.

Great product. Easily bolts into existing locations. The hangers that attach to the front motor mount are not difficult, but are a bit awkward to get tightened.Overall, you will need someone to help you align all the mounting holes and hold the skid plate steady. We also used a floor jack to hold one end up while we bolted in the other.

The skid plate was packaged very well. Also it’s extremely sturdy and looks like it can take some hits no problem. Installation was simple and only took about an hour on my 2012 JK Sport Automatic. Well thought out and engineered design! It’s exactly what I needed to protect the oil and transmission pans. Great product that will last on the trails!!

Bought this a few months ago for some protection while on the trails. Read some of the reviews about being somewhat difficult to install. total install took me about 30 minutes once i figured out where the supports went. the picture instructions are not the best but pretty easy to figure out. First time out on the trials it came in real handy and did it's job and only with some scratches to the bottom that would have otherwise have taken out my oil or transmission pan. So well worth the money for it.

This Oil Pan Skid Plate is a very solid skid plate! Easy Install, took about 30 min. Everything was pretty well laid out in the instructions, but the Youtube.com videos were much more help. This is a great addition if you are going to be doing any kind of off-roading as damage to the Oil Pan can leave you stranded! This is a great skid plate for the money for sure! You won't be disappointed!

Box came pretty messed up but the skid plates fine and all the parts there. Needs at least a 2.5” lift to install.
